Great knife for meat, fish, veggies and fruits. Easy to clean, and creates smooth cuts.

Very sharp. Valuable steel blade. The handle is not wood. But I like it. I don't like the real wood handles that feels sticky if it gets wet. I bought more.

I bought this knife to reshape it to a honesuki. Tested the blade durability by cutting a wadded tee shirt sleeve. Sliced the whole sleeve into1/8” thick slices. Cut 2-3 inches of 5/8” nylon rope into 1/16” pieces, still very sharp. Bought one for daughter and one for son and 3 more for myself. Surprisingly at a lower price. I’ll wait for the other knives before reshaping this knife. Very sharp and I like the balance.
