  I daughter loved this for helping me prep in the kitchen (only really cuts soft things, like bananas) and then eventually using it for play with playdoh - but i made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher once and it was ruined.

  This seemed so cute and sturdy, but on first use it chipped. I think we can sand down where it chipped, but it’s unfortunate to have to do that for something I just bought, and it will make that part of the “blade” less effective. It’s a bummer.

  I run a daycare, and even my infant can use this! We made fajitas and halushki (there’s a story as to why), and the kids cut the cabbage and peppers themselves! Functional, easy to use, and safe!

  My daughter loves using this! Great for very soft foods only though (ie banana), first time we tried it on something that required her to apply more pressure, it broke in half :( the metal crinkle cutter works better for that apparently!

  I actually looked at a lot of these wooden knives before selecting this brand. Others were much cheaper but based on the reviews, it seemed you got what you paid for. I decided to spend more to get a better product… but unfortunately That’s not how it panned out. We have used this twice. The first time to cut one banana. The second time to cut two strawberries. That’s literally the extent of the use. Each time we hand washed with soap and water. After these two uses the wood has numerous cracks. One is pretty large and runs the entire thickness on the knife so im pretty sure the knife will snap in half soon. My daughter really liked using this, but I would not have paid this amount of money to cut two pieces of fruit…
