Really nice sheath and the knife is the best.

My son has just started hunting mushrooms and I chose to add this as a holiday gift. We were delighted at the appearance and quality. After he took with him for 1st time he called to thank me for this tool saying it was very useful and cut well as was easy to use way it was designed. Reminder to tie a bright colored ribbon around in case you drop in foliage.

This knife is well made and so convenient for cutting mushrooms. It has a brush on one end that gently cleans your shrooms. Highly recommended.

I had no idea this kind of knife existed, but was the perfect Christmas gift for my Polish father-in-law (much to the dismay of my mother-in-law, which made it even better). They go mushroom "hunting" every year so it was a win-win; funny for me and functional for him.Unrelated to this review, is it hunting if the prey doesn't move? Funny comments are welcome.

I opted for this knife for its quality and lightweight design, having owned an Opinel cheese knife for years, which I love. First time I took this knife out foraging for Turkey Tails, some dirt got stuck in the workings of the rotating blade lock at the hilt. The dirt jammed up the lock, which is now almost impossible to turn. I see no way of getting the grit out of such a tight space. I’ve tried. Pretty disappointed that after just one use I’m now avoiding using this pricey knife. If it’s designed for mushroom foraging, it should be designed so this doesn’t happen, or for easy cleaning... being that mushrooms are foraged from dirt/trees etc. where grit & plant debris can easily get into the workings.

the boxes where completly apart thru shipping and 1 knife was falling out of the bag when I picked up the bag as they are shipped in a plastic bag, Knife's were fine - so if you want a good mushroom knife go for it - they are sweet (but if you are buying for Christmas Gifts as I was see if you can find these knifes somewhere else
