  My kids LOVE their knives! They loved this one so much we bought a second. I have been beyond impressed. We own a processor so our kids are always wanted to skin with us and this product allowed that. Super excited to some day purchase the foldable one for them but for now these are working great! Knife edge holds very well, its slightly sharp (obviously what an adult wants but for kids its a little scary how sharp it is) but we just knocked the edge down a little before letting them learn how to properly use it.

  Bought this for Christmas for my 7 year old to have his first knife. The blade locks both in the open and the closed state. Which is awesome for making sure the knife does not accidently open or close. Once you press the button to open the knife it opens easily so he isnt struggling to open it. It does not have a sharp point which is nice. The blade is actually sharp to be used as a knife which also helps prevent injuries because it will actually cut without to much force and pressure causing accidents to happen.If you are looking for a great knife to get a kid as a starter knife I would recommend this knife and I am very happy with the purchase.

  I was nervous. But when I received this product. I was relieved to find out. They where exactly what I expected. Very well made for my boys. Haven’t given them to my boys. But sure they will be happy. Great starter knife. Happy with my purchase!

  The knives are really beautiful. The locking mechanism broke on one knife within 10 minutes of grandkids opening.Update: company contacted me and refunded full amount! Now that's what a good company does.

  My oldest is in Boy Scouts and he's learning to whittle or really just make spears with knives. When looking for a knife to get him, a locking mechanism was a must!

  While the design and idea of the knife are great, we tried two of these, and both broke within a day. It is a little bigger than I expected, but it worked great for kid hands. Easy to hold and use. The lock button broke on the first one after a day and the second one never worked correctly. They did send the second one as a replacement for the first which was appreciated. Wish it was better quality!

  The knife is a little sharper than and child’s knife should be. My son cut him (small cut didn’t bleed long) the first day he got it on Christmas. Great quality though for a starter knife

  Bought for our daughter and she loves it. The safety lockouts for opening and closing are very nice feature. Curved handle fits smaller hands. Belt clip is sturdy and holds nice and tight. Grip is textured and allows for easy use without slipping. The rounded tip is a great training feature to prevent cuts while operating it. The only issue is the metalic label popped off. The adhesive used is weak. If rivited on it would hold up and not fall off.

  My son received this as a Christmas present which he loved. It is a great first knife for children, feels very sturdy. He had no problem opening and closing it himself. It did not come with a sheath as described and sold. I returned and reordered thinking I somehow ordered the wrong knife originally but even the replacement did not come as a sheath set. It was a little disappointing as I wanted some where for my son to store the knife and one of the reasons I purchased this specific knife.
